As we strive to fulfill the JCS Mission Statement, one requirement in creating and nurturing servant leadership is taking advantage of opportunities to serve beyond our comfort zone. To that end we offer JCS juniors and seniors mission opportunities that take them away from home, first to a destination stateside and second to a place out of the country so they can experience other cultures in a controlled setting. We have found these experiences to be life changing of our students. They ar usually met with skepticism and trepidation but they always end with an expanded mind and a clearer understanding of Christ's call to love one another and spread the gospel. Lives are changed. Relationships are forged. But most importantly, God is honored by our obedience.
