EITC / SPE TAX DONATION
Through Pennsylvania’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, businesses and eligible individuals can turn state tax dollars into scholarships for JCS students. By directing a portion of your taxes to JCS, you help make a Christ-centered education possible for more families without increasing your overall tax burden.
Any Pennsylvania tax payer can be an EITC donor and can receive a 90% tax credit!
How to get started:

Donations are made out of your state income tax liability. According to state EITC guidelines, donations must be at least $500 and no more than your individual or business state income tax liability.

Email JCS Development Director Jen Donovan at jdonovan@jcslions.com and she will connect you with a charitable foundation.

The charitable foundation professionally and privately guides you in completing state form requirements and ultimately disperses your donation back to Juniata Christian School.

can open the door to a Christian education for more students.

The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program provides a significant portion of the need-based tuition assistance our families receive each year, making Christian education more accessible while easing the burden on the school's operating budget.

In 2026, 33 families received EITC scholarships to help make a JCS education possible. Your participation can help even more students and families experience the life-changing impact of Christian education.
RACE FOR EDUCATION & SERVE FOR EDUCATION
Each spring, JCS hosts its annual Race for Education and Serve for Education to raise vital funds for our school’s operating needs.
Students in the younger grades take part in a fun-filled race around our campus. No matter the weather, their enthusiasm is never dampened! Your sponsorship supports more than just their steps–it helps ensure a safe, comfortable, and Christ-centered environment where they can grow and thrive.
On the same day, our high school students participate in Serve for Education, giving their time and energy to help local organizations. By sponsoring these students, you not only support JCS but also help instill in them a heart for serving the community with Christ-like love.
